Got Him!!! OBL is Dead!!!

Justice has been served.  On the early morning of May 1, 2011 Navy Seals Team 6 found and killed Osama Bin Laden. The mastermind behind 9-11 and so many other attacks that have killed thousands finally met his end…..and 72 virgins were not waiting on the other side.

First, let me give some credit to Obama for FINALLY taking a leadership role and taking action when he had the chance.  Although, reports say he waffled for 16 hours before giving the go ahead.

In my opinion, the majority of credit goes to George W. Bush’s administration, our awesome military, intel and yes, enhanced interrogations.  The intelligence came from W’s policies.  The very policies that Obama campaigned against.  It’s because of the Guantanamo detention center and waterboarding that led us to the courier who in the end led us to OBL.  Enhanced interrogations work and have kept us safer.

Thank you W! Thank you!

Thank you to our awesome troops!

God Bless our Country and keep her safe!!

You’re Hired…Trump 2012?

I have to admit when thinking about who would be the Republican candidate to rival Obama for the Presidency, Donald Trump didn’t exactly come to my mind.  I saw his speech at CPAC 2011 and I was intrigued by what he had to say.  First, he loves our Country and he hates what it is becoming (weak in the eyes of many nations). He vows, if he runs and wins, “this country will be respected again.”

He loves Ronald Reagan, a definite plus in my eyes. He holds true to conservative values/principles: pro-life, against gun control, opposes gay marriage, wants a strong defense, won’t raise taxes,  and the man sure knows how to run a business. He also will fight to end obamacare.

Who knows maybe come 2012 we might hear Mr. Trump utter those famous words in his acceptance speech, ” Obama, you’re fired!!!!”

My Beginning in Becoming a Conservative Woman

February 6, 2011 marks the 100th birthday of the Greatest President in my lifetime.  Actually, a great man.  Ronald Wilson Reagan is a man to be admired.  He was a man of character.  A man who loved God, a devoted husband that loved his wife and family. A man who loved and served his country with respect and honor.

Although I was only 4 years old when he took office on January 20, 1981, I had a great admiration for him.  I remember when I was a little girl riding in my grandfather’s
Cadillac.  He had a sunroof and I would always ask him to open it up and I would stand up and wave to the passing cars….just like President Reagan.
Admiring Reagan, even at a young age, was the start of my love of conservatism.  I grew up in a very Republican family, but when I was old enough to know and make decisions for myself, I registered myself as a Republican (the happiest day of my father’s life, he once told me…haha).
I believe, as President Reagan, in what was known as “Reaganomics“: widespread tax cuts, increase national defense, decrease social spending and deregulation of domestic markets.
The Reagan years saw a restoration of prosperity.  May we find these years once again.
In closing, I’ll never forget standing at his grave site, tears welling up in my eyes as I read: “I know in my heart that man is good. That what is right will always eventually triumph. And there’s purpose and worth to each and every life.”
I thank God for blessing us, our great nation, with a leader with such great character and integrity.
Reagan is an inspiration to me and a role model for all.

Happy 100th Birthday Mr. President!!
